Jersey's Roll of Service: 1914-1919

This page last updated 21 Aug 2001
The index is complete to Cooney, Walter

The roll of service gives the names of the Jerseymen of military age who fought in the First World War.

Along with the name is given Parish, Rank, Ship or Regiment.

Sometimes the name is only given as initials, mostly it is a full name.

The other details are usually present, but are absent in some instances.

These pages give name only. They are an index to the roll of service, not the full details (Parish, Rank, Regiment). Parish details may be added later.

For lookups on the extra details, e-mail me at am_bellows@hotmail.com with the names required.

This is a large project, as there are over 5,000 names, and OCR does not work well, so names have to be copied by hand. Please be patient and check back each month. The top of the page indicates my progress to a particular name.

So far: 988 names, approx. 19% of total.
