A dwindling congregation and lack of money have been blamed for the closure of an historic Jersey church.
The Galaad Methodist Church building in St Lawrence was built in 1832, but is due to be sold off in the Spring.
Its congregation voted to merge with the First Tower Methodist Church, which is to be re-named and refurbished.
The Reverend Chris White, who'll perform the final sermon at Galaad, said that declining number of members, age profile and the increasing costs of keeping the church open where reasons for the closure.
