This month's meeting was very successful. With the help of François Le Maistre we reviewed and finalised the translations of the signs for Hamptonne into Jèrriais and for the notes on various areas under the headings of vegetables, fruits, herbs, public notices and buildings. This was followed by a short play reading en Jèrriais entitled "Dialogue entre deux fèrmièrs" par Laurie Hueûlîn - "au r'nouvé et en été"; "au s'tembre et en hivé" can be concluded at the next meeting. The text for Les Preunmié Mille Mots is now being put on disc by a local firm (spelling as above, not as in the Bulletin), prior to being sent to Usborne Publishing Co. which will arrange the production of the films and the printing. All contributors have been acknowledged.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 1st March at 8.00pm in the Committee Room as per programme, when we shall discuss any NT information and Jèrriais.
