This bust of Lord Coutanche, Bailiff during the Occupation, is located on a shelf on the side of the States Building under the balcony from which Liberation was proclaimed in May 1945.
This bust was presented to the Island by the Jersey Evening Post to mark its centenary on 30 June, 1990 on which date it was unveiled by
Sir Peter Crill, C.B.E., Bailiff
