Pistols at dawn, duelling, a spot of fisticuffs or a flat out royal rumble - the paths seemed to be a favourite place to sort out minor(!) disagreements!
If fighting wasn't you thing, then smoking, drinking or just plain skiving lessons were also popular pastimes.
Mr Talibard chose to open a stall inviting people to pay 50p and enter in an interesting "Debate" with him.
Some decided to use their 10 minutes to have a philosophical discussion on life, the universe etc while others took full advantage of the situation and used the time to hurl as much abuse at Talibard as they could (often involving long periods of time without taking breathe and without Talibard getting a word in edgeways, except the odd "that's enough now"!)
It wasn't until one pupil, who decided that a couple of quid was a suitable donation, had given Mike so much abuse (causing his slapper to go beetroot red with rage) that the stall was closed.
Suffice to say the stall didn't feature on the line up the following year.
