AFTER THE WAR: ESSAYS ON JERSEY HISTORY: 1946-2002

Overview

This series of essays attempts to depict the changes which have taken place in Jersey society in the period after the war to the present day (2002); the reader is warned that it is very much an brief outline of the changes and trends which have taken place, and aims to give a broad survey only, more in the manner of the "History of England" by G.K. Chesterton rather the more detailed one written by G.M. Trevelyan.
