Salutâtions tout l’monde. Thank you to those who attended last month’s meeting. We were pleased that some of us could attend L'Assembliée’s meeting and contribute some readings and to continue with filing the literature collection in the neutral transparent envelopes.
The poetry reading in between the films at the Assembliée meeting went without incident with Geraint choosing a selection to read.
There have been no glaring errors come to our ears or eyes this month, but rumour has it that Geraint possibly advised Time Team on the language situation pertaining in Jersey during the time of Gorey Castle’s use.
There being no other business to report until after La Fête Normande, our next meeting will be on Wednesday next, June 2nd. at 8.00pm in the AM room at Pier Rd. when we should be able to continue sorting and filing the literature collection.
