Procureur-Généraux du Roi

Today, the office of H.M. Attorny General performs this ancient role which is to take the Crown's, and therefore the island's, interest in prosecuting wrongdoers. The office carries an ex officio seat in the States, an advisory voice but no vote. Old records show a Député Procureur sometimes fulfilling the role.
